2. APPLYING FOR A DRIVER'S LICENSE (Step 2)

A driver's license permit for a B driver's license is applied for from Traficom when you start driving school. You can apply for a driver's license in Traficom's electronic transaction service. From the following links in the transaction service, choose either the first driver's license or the renewal of the driver's license. Please also notify the driving school when you have handled the matter independently, either electronically or at Ajovarma's office.
Driver's license fee (electronic transaction service) 24€
If the conditions for using the electronic service are not met, follow the instructions below.
We will print the driver's license application for you to sign and deliver it to Ajovarma after you have proven your identity and brought the necessary attachments:
2 passport photos. However, if you have a valid passport or identity card, you do not need new passport photos for your driver's license. You also do not need photos if you have submitted photos for a driver's, driver's or professional qualification card or an ADR or taxi driver's license on or after 1 January 2013.
The driver's license fee (driver's license application to Ajovarma's office) 39€ has been paid and the payment has been reported to the driving school.
The permit fee of 39€ is paid in Ajovarma Oy's online service via the payment link in the email confirmation you receive from Ajovarma. The time mentioned and reserved in the e-mail message is not a meeting time, but only means that the permit fee must be paid by now. We will deliver your license application to Ajovarma Oy as soon as you have made this payment and notified us of this. The theory test can only be booked and completed after Traficom has issued a driver's license permit. The processing of the application usually takes a few days. Read more about driving license.
3. THEORY LESSONS AND SELF-STUDY (Step 3)

The B(4+10)+B(4+4) course (no driver's license / EAS training based on 4h or voluntary B-theories 4h + RTK training 4h) therefore includes a total of 8 theory lessons (lesson length is 45 minutes). In this B course, the introductory lesson (30 min) can be attended on request at the Etelä-Haaga office (Vihdintie 8) on Mondays at 5:00 p.m. and all EAS lessons TK1-4 (4h) and RTK lessons (4h) are held either as online lessons (in the learning environment during control room opening hours Mon- Thu 8am-10pm, Fri-Sat 8am-4pm So now EAS and RTK classes can also be completed on weekends) or as virtual classes. You can find instructions for completing the theory lessons here and the order of lessons here. You can take theory lessons conveniently as online lessons in the Webauto learning environment or alternatively as virtual lessons (Virtual class 1 (nettiopetus.fi) or Virtual class 2). First, however, make a teaching contract and take care of the other initial preparations for the driving school course. Please also let us know how you want to complete the theory lessons. Our homepage and Webauto have all the necessary information about your driving school
On Webauto's timeline and through the menu on the right side, you can find almost all the necessary information about your driving school. Here you can do both lesson-related tasks and self-assessments, check your driving lesson bookings and comment on your progress in the diary section after the drives. If you wish, you can choose the Course Package, which includes this Webauto's extensive learning environment +€60 (norm. €65). The learning environment includes an electronic textbook 20€, self-assessment and level tests, as well as lesson-specific questions) 30€ and theory test practice in Netreen (question and picture tests) 15€. In addition, if you wish, you can order a separately printed textbook for 35€ and pick it up immediately at our office.
The B-course includes the necessary amount of self-study in the Webauto learning environment using the textbook as an aid. The tasks are divided according to the theory lessons and there are two types: basic tasks are completed before the theory lessons and applied tasks after the lessons. In addition, you can use e.g. links to YouTube teaching videos and other learning materials found on our website (helsinginliikennekoulu.fi). The versatile use of these self-study opportunities significantly improves learning results and also significantly helps with success in the driving test.
Instructions for completing theory and driving lessons and utilizing the learning environment.
Those who requested both electronic and paper invoices can see their invoices on Webauto's invoicing page. Driving lessons can be booked when at least the first installment has been paid by contacting us via email info@helsinginliikennekoulu.fi, by calling/messaging 040 576 2015 (also Whatsapp) or in the Driving School Chat. The office is open during daily changing opening hours, which are kept up to date on our website. All invoices must be paid before the driving test and possible retest. You can give feedback orally and by e-mail or using the Webauto and homepage feedback form.
4. THEORY TEST (Step 4)

You practice for the theory test by doing self-study tasks in Webauto on the Netreeni page and reading a textbook or using Ajokaista's similar services. The prerequisites for admission to the theory test are that Traficom has issued a driver's license, all theory lessons have been attended and the age is at least 17 years and 11 months. The theory test contains 15 multiple choice questions, 50 picture questions and 5 RTK questions. There may be 4 mistakes in multiple choice questions, 7 mistakes in pictures and 1 mistake in RTK questions.
The theory test can be taken with an extended completion time if the mother tongue is other than Finnish or Swedish, or if there is a medical certificate of dyslexia.
Ajovarma charges an examination fee of 40.00 for the standard theory test, 107.00 for the theory test with extended completion time, and 99.00 for the driving test. All payments are made in Ajovarma's online service when booking an appointment via the payment link in the booking confirmation you received by e-mail from Ajovarma.

EAS and RTK certificates are now distributed directly from the Webauto student administration electronically to Ajovarma.
The theory test can be taken at Ajovarma's offices in Helsinki's Herttoniemi (Lämmittäjänkatu 2 B, 5th floor) or Malmi (Takoraudantie 1), and in Vantaa's Kaivoksela (Vetokuja 2).
Notify your driving instructor when the theory test has been successfully completed, and bring the teaching and diploma certificate to the next driving lesson. Reservations can also be made independently

5. DRIVING LESSONS (Step 5)

The new B(4+10)+B(4+4) course contains at least 14 driving hours (à 50 min), which includes track driving with trips (2 driving hours) and a night driving course with a simulator (1 driving hour), because the driving school has a simulator available . With the simulation course package, this RTK training road driving and slippery driving can also be completed with the new driving simulator. After this, the minimum number of drives leaves 11 driving hours for other driving practice with the right car in the right traffic situations. See also the other B course options, which include 19 driving hours in the basic package. With us, you can complete driving lessons or the entire course with a manual or automatic car. If you pass the driving test with an automatic transmission car, the driver's license will be marked that you can only drive automatic transmission cars on your driver's license. If you pass the driving test with a manual transmission car, you can drive all types of B driving license class vehicles.
Driving lessons or driving simulator lessons to start the first installment of the course fee must have been paid and theory lessons TK1-4 of the EAS training (for the first driver's license holder) must have been attended. After that, driving lessons should be taken closely 2-3 times a week (learning happens continuously, so driving lessons are not just repetition). Payments of the following payment installments must also proceed at the same pace as the driving hours. Please reserve several driving lessons sufficiently far in advance by logging into Webauto or by messaging/calling, so that you can better match them to the times you want. Generally, driving lessons start by car at the office, starting points or joker starting points Mon-Fri from 8 am to 6 pm, and driving lessons at the office Mon-Thurs from 12 pm to 5 pm. If necessary, you can bring an interpreter to the driving lessons, but other people are not allowed without the teacher's separate permission.
If the booked driving lesson or sim driving lesson does not take place, it must be canceled no later than 12:00 on the previous working day, and the RTK training driving training course must be canceled no later than 2 working days earlier. Otherwise, we have to charge the price of the driving hour.
Track
The B course includes as a mandatory part the practice of driving on a track in slippery weather (included in the B(4+4) course of risk identification training. We use the driving practice track located in Kulloo, Porvoo (Metsäpirtintie 102, Porvoo). You usually go to the track in a group of 1-2 students, and the course lasts about 3- 4 hours. Track shifts start every hour on working days from 9.30, 10.30.. 15.30, and this too should be arranged well in advance. The 80.00 euro track fee of the railway company is included in the course fee. Driving simulator course packages include a smooth ride with the new Finnish Drive driving simulator.
Driving in the dark course with a driving simulator
The B course also includes a mandatory part of the night driving course, which is carried out with a driving simulator (included in the B(4+4) course of risk identification training. The simulator is located at the Etelä-Haaga office of the driving school (Vihdintie 8). You can reserve a time for the driving simulator by making an appointment with the secretary by phone, e-mail or in the Driving School's Chat ( helsinginliikennekoulu.fi) or with the appointment system.However, you should reserve at least 75 minutes of time for dark driving training with the simulator.
Risk identification training
The risk identification training B(4+4) = (Risk training, Risk management training) includes 4 theory lessons RK1-4 (Online lessons during the opening hours of the control room Mon-Thurs 8-22, Fri-Sat 8-16.) or virtual lessons according to the order of the lesson, 4 driving lessons, of which assessment drives as individual lessons ( 1h urban driving / 1h highway driving) and 1h slippery track driving, which includes one hour of driving on a driving practice track in a driving school car in a group (1-3 students + teacher). In addition, this RTK training also includes a 1-hour night driving course with a simulator.
With the driving simulator course package, this RTK training road driving and slippery driving can also be completed with the new Finnish Drive driving simulator. If the reserved RTK driving lesson or track time does not work, it must be canceled no later than 3 working days and the driving simulator driving lessons 1 working day earlier by 12:00, otherwise we will have to charge the price of the driving lesson.
6. DRIVING TEST (Step 6)

The driving test can be booked after the theory test has been completed. The secretary will handle the reservation with you, and you will receive a link to your email from Ajovarma, through which you can pay the test fee before the test day. For exams paid on the exam day, you must bring the receipt with you. When taking the test, you must be 1.) at least 18 years old, 2.) have driven the minimum amount of driving, 3.) have sufficient driving skills and 4.) have paid all driving school fees. The test is conducted in a driving school car.

The approved driving test is marked on the education and diploma certificate (E100), which serves as a driving license until the driver's license arrives home by mail.
TRAINING AGREEMENT

I accept Webauto's terms of use. I have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the Driving School. In the case of underage customers, the payer's information is required separately, so that the teaching contract is legally binding and the payer is responsible for paying the course fees related to the selected course package and other costs incurred from driver's license training on behalf of the customer.
With this agreement, the student/guardian/payer orders and undertakes to pay for the tuition and the driving school undertakes to provide tuition at the prices agreed upon when choosing the course package. After the minimum tuition, the student and the teacher jointly agree on possible additional tuition, if the tuition according to the curriculum approved by Traf is not completed. Additional tuition is charged according to the unit or package price shown below. The driving school is obliged to issue a certificate of instruction when the student has paid the full amount corresponding to the instruction. The driving school is not responsible for possible increases in fees that are not included in tuition fees. This agreement is valid for one (1) year.
PAYMENT PLAN (payment of the driving school course fee immediately or in 1-6 installments?)

You can pay for your driving school immediately as an online payment or we will send invoices by email in 1-6 installments without additional costs. However, all installments must be paid before taking the driving test, even if the payment installments agreed upon at the beginning of the course are due after the driving test.
(Does not apply to those who took financing via Svea WebPay/Resurs Bank). Possible additional driving lessons, late canceled or non-cancelled driving lessons and retakes are charged separately. If the student does not use or cancels the drive arranged for him by 12 noon on the previous working day at the latest, the driving school has the right to charge the normal fee for the driving lesson. Also for additional driving lessons agreed separately with the student, the driving hour will be invoiced separately according to the price list before the driving test, and both the student and the payer must monitor the amount and times of the driving hours by logging into the Webauto student administration with the login credentials given to the student at the beginning of the course, so that no unexpected additional costs arise due to additional driving lessons.
In addition to the course fee, there are the following fees:

RE-EXAMINATION (if the driving test is rejected or by order of the police)

If the driving test is rejected, the examiner will no longer assign additional driving hours from 1 July 2018, but the student will agree on the number of additional driving hours with the teacher (at least 1 driving hour). The retest can be booked by contacting the secretary. In addition to the retest, we bill for at least one driving lesson (80,-) and the use of the car in the driving test (110,-). On the same day before the driving test, you always drive at least 1 hour (rehearsal and transfer the car to Ajovarma's examination office), but it is often recommended to take a few driving hours closely before the driving test.
In this way, it is easier to avoid a possible rejection cycle, especially when the booking period for the driving test is two weeks or more. One additional driving lesson (50 min) costs 80€, and driving lesson packages (3x50 min) 231€ and (5x50 min) 375€
EXCEPTION CASES (when the driving school is suspended)

You can cancel the registration one week after registration by paying only the service fee of 39€ for canceling the registration, as well as any costs incurred for services or study materials that have already been completed. As a general rule, installments of the course fee are paid on the due dates, and the first installment is due one week after registration. After this, we primarily aim to provide the services corresponding to the teaching contract (e.g. theory lessons and driving lessons) and the refund or cancellation of the teaching contract is ultimately up to the driving school alone. However, it is usually possible to interrupt the course before the approved driving test, but we will charge for this interruption costs, taking into account the overall situation, but no more than 200€.
In B and BC driving lessons, the teacher is the responsible driver. In the driver's license driving test and in M ??and A driving lessons, the student is a responsible driver. In this case, in case of damage, the student's deductible is 200€, which can be charged in addition to other costs.
